Kakadu Plum the superfood in skincare

Kakadu Plum, also known as Gubinge or Billygoat plum, is a small fruit that grows in Australia's Northern Territory and Western Australia.

This superfruit  is one of the richest sources of vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that protects the skin from free radical damage. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can cause oxidative stress, leading to premature aging, inflammation, and other skin problems. Antioxidants neutralize these harmful molecules, reducing the risk of damage and improving overall skin health.

Vitamin C in Kakadu Plum also helps to improve the skin's texture and tone. As we age, the production of collagen and elastin in the skin decreases, leading to wrinkles, sagging, and fine lines. The vitamin C in Kakadu plum stimulates collagen production, a protein that gives structure and elasticity to the skin which helps to maintain a youthful, firm, and smooth complexion.

At Linaa.k we added Kakadu Plum extract to our toner to improve the texture of the skin by reducing the appearance of pores, making it smoother, more even and brighter for a more youthful complexion!
